An International Sanitation Conference was organized through the WHO organization on 23 June 1851.
After the event, about 14 conferences were organized from 1851 to 1948. Many diseases were solved through these events.
Through these events, actions were taken to fight cholera, yellow fever and bubonic plague.
Gradually, through these events, the World Health Organization started getting success in its work.
Soon after that, in the years 1902 and 1907, the Pan-American Sanitary Bureau, and the Office International d’Higen Public, were made.
